Announcing Our Nubian Square Youth Ball King and Queen!

We are thrilled to announce the crowning of our Nubian Square Youth Ball King and Queen for this year's event. Kayden Hurd, a 9th-grade student at The Fessenden School, has been selected as our King. He is a talented individual with interests in basketball, music, photography, and woodworking.

Our Queen for this year is Aniyah Avery, a 4th-grade student at Chickering Elementary School in Dover and a member of the Metco community. Aniyah is also a part of the EDPYG double Dutch team, showcasing her athleticism and dedication.

The crowning ceremony was a special moment, with Julia Mejia, City Councilor, Mrs. Massachusetts, and Yhinny Matos of Madison Park CDC, doing the honors. It is a true honor for Kayden and Aniyah to represent Roxbury, and we are excited to work with them directly in the future.

Stay tuned for more updates and exciting news from our community events!
