Family Gala

A Mad Hatter themed gala night for homeless families in Roxbury, MA. Beginning with a pre-event for guests in need of attire and makeup, the night consisted of a four course meal, a dance show from Jome Dance Studio, and a poetry reading sponsored by the Children Services of Roxbury. We also had a photo booth and face painting, making it fun for the whole family. With 13 sponsors, over 75 families attended!
Who?
Partnering with Lazos De Amor, we created this event to help homeless families have a memorable, fun, and relaxing evening.
What?
This gala event allowed families to have an elegant evening without being restricted by their circumstances. We partnered with Rose JP Consignment to provide attire for those who did not have their own. Community donations were used to pay forward tickets for those who could not afford it. We also assisted one family by providing them with our FLOAT grant.
